NJWEA Technology Transfer Seminar

Registration is Now Open for the Fall Technology Transfer Seminar.
 
As you are aware the NJWEA Technology Transfer Seminar is a major event on our industry’s calendar. In addition to our recurring Topics the Committee is please to now offer two special programs we would like to highlight: 
 

 

Utility Management Certification Course
 
This is offered as a 4 day (20 hour) course which is modeled after the California State University Certificate Course for Utility Management. Participants can take individual days for TCH credit and not receive the course certificate. 
 ALL 4 DAYS MUST BE ATTENDED 
 TO COMPLETE THE COURSE.
It is the goal of the NJWEA to roll out this curriculum in an effort to introduce water and wastewater professionals
to material to enhance their management skills and exposed them to material that can be seen on higher level NJDEP Licensing Exams. 
 
Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester Training
and Certification Examination (ASSE 5110)
 
At this (40) hour training class, participants will be presented with the guidelines used for acceptable practices of testing backflow prevention assemblies. The participants will also learn the principles of cross-connection control and the methods, devices, and assemblies used to protect the potable water system. The training and knowledge provided will prepare the student for the jurisdiction’s recognized examination. BPI has designed this comprehensive training to provide the necessary skills to confidentially take the exam of AWWA, ABPA, ABC, ASSE, and many others. On the final day of training, the ASSE 5110 tester certification examination will be administered.
