NJWEA has chapters from high school to university level.

HIGH SCHOOL CHAPTERS in the NEW JERSEY WATER ENVIRONMENT ASSOCIATION & WATER ENVIRONMENT FEDERATION

ATTENTION ALL HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS

The Water Environment Federation (WEF) has given the New Jersey Water Environment Association (NJWEA) permission to form High School Student Chapters.

Any teacher who is an advisor to an Environmental, Science or other related High School club can apply for a Student Chapter for their High School.

Criteria

CRITERIA

1. Teacher must be a member of the NJWEA. If not, consideration will be given to waiving the first year’s dues. Dues after the first year will be at the then current rate.
2. At least seven (7) students must join at inception. Their first year’s dues will be paid by the NJWEA. Thereafter, dues will be $8.00 per year per student.

1. Each new chapter will receive a charter plaque with the High School name on it.
2. Students will be eligible for scholarships when entering college
3. WEF publications will be mailed to Teacher and Students
4. Both Teacher and Students will receive the NJWEA Effluents Magazine, and the Scan Newsletter, and all association mailings including training opportunities and seminars.
5. Discounts on all WEF Manual of Practice (MOP) publications
6. Access to the NJWEA Library located at Rutgers/Cook College
