Rutger's University- in the library of "Special collections and Archives is a list NJWEA - North section Constitution and by- laws of the Bergen County Sewage OPerators Association, 1944. Minutes 1938-1990, 1994-1996 and 1998-2001, a combined membership list and awards night program, 2001, and a photocopy of agroup picture.

"There are many environmental issues, particularly as they concern water resources, area a significant theme of several of our congressional papers including Senators Harrison Williams and Clifford Case, also members of Congress Millicent Fenwick and James Florio. The Passaic River, Newark Bay, Deleware River, Rahway River and Hackensack River are major subjects of material in the collections, material can also be found concerning the Shrewsbury River, Walkill River, Intra-Coastal Waterway and many others. Project proposals, various types of background material and correspondence with Federal, State and local government officials, individual constituents and interest groups (e.g. The Passaic River Coalition, The Stony Brook-Millstone Watersheds Association) are among the documentation forms in the papers. The materials often concern public works projects involving the management of water resouces, sewerage, wastewater, dredging, water supply, recreation and flood control. Also, materials related to concerns with New Jersey's coastal environment are found in the collection, including the dumping of sludge into the ocean. Additionally documentation of environmental education initiatives are found in the collection, often in the form of program proposals by New Jersey public schools and universities. Researchers will be greatly servied by having these aggregate resources processed and available for their perusal".

a-hacker.gif Hall of fame plaque is now located at the Environmental and Natural Science Building at 14 College Farm Rd. on the Cook campus. The plaque is honoring John J.Lagrosa, Executive Director of NJWEA- May 2008, and
for the year 2009 presented to Richard T.Dewling,PE, and for the year 2010 in honor of Joesph Manganaro.
