Students and Young Professionals In an effort to bolster our membership and encourage young professionals to participate in and speak at the NJWEA Annual Conference, the Young Professional committee will hold a Young Professionals Speaker Challenge.

Operator Licensing Proposal from NJDEP

The NJDEP has released the Licensing Rule proposal in which NJWEA had an opportunity to participate. Joe duRocher of DEP has drafted a good summary:

Rule Proposal Summary

An issue that still remains is the "inactivity" for retired licensees. We will be commenting on that for this proposal. The rules further elevate the level of professionalism that the license represents which benefits the licensee in the workplace and in the profession. We will also be commenting on other issues.
